By studying the political processes and American history children begin to can learn what worked and what didn’t. Even very young children can begin to grasp who the president is and what that means.
Each morning at HAUS we recite the Pledge of Allegiance and each afternoon we learn about one important political figure and what they did. Throughout the year we will cover all the US presidents and put them on our wall of fame.
HAUS kids will learn about the Judicial, Executive and Legislative branches of government. We study the constitution and the bill of rights and practice voting on things like snacks and book types.
As part of our recycling political collage, with the help of our HAUS recycling families, we make a giant American flag and cover the mottos of the 50 states, in order.
